Oscillator tuning
- [Instructor] In the previous videos, we discussed some of the more unique and important features of Serums wave table oscillators. Let's continue with oscillator tuning. A more basic parameter. So let's reinitialize serum. Let's go up to menu and let's choose init preset. The four tuning parameters are octave semitone fine and coarse, and they're located just under the title bar and just above the waveform display. So to demonstrate octave, let's turn on oscillator B. So the octave parameter allows us to transpose an oscillator upper or down four octaves and let's turn down the master just a little bit because we're using both oscillators. So you might transpose the second oscillator down an octave or two to add a little fullness or support the sound. So here's what it sounds like in unison, and if I pull it down an octave down two octaves, because here that we've already got the start of a pretty good base sound. Now I also might push that second oscillator up an octave. So for…
