Preset #1: Sine bass
- [Instructor] In the next few videos, we'll look at how to create several Serum presets. Let's start by creating a relatively simple bass sound that uses FM wave table warping, to add a bit of character. Now just one reminder, you can find the demo midi clip that I'm using, and a related Ableton set, in the learning Serum folder. You'll also find the completed version of the preset, in the learning Serum preset sub folder. If you're an Ableton user, you can open the Ableton set to follow along. Or, if you use another program, import the MIDI file to a track in your DAW, and add Serum to the track to follow along. Now let's check out the finished sound. (synth bass playing) Alright, let's build that. So let's start by muting that first track, and enabling the second one, and if you click on the track header here, that will change us over to the Serum that I preloaded on the second track. Okay, so, this particular sound is using all sign waves, so let's go to our wave table chooser…
