Preset #5: LFO sequence

- Serum doesn't have a built-in arpeggiator or step sequencer, but you can use an LFO to create similar results. It's a bit challenging, so let's take a look at one method of doing this. So let's start by going into our presets selector and into the Learning Serum Presets subfolder and let's pull up this 4_05 LFO sequence. So we can create a step sequencer by assigning an LFO to one of the oscillator semitone tuning parameters. Now this can get complicated, so here are some suggestions to keep this as simple as possible. So let's take LFO one and let's assign that to the semitone parameter here on oscillator A. And let's make sure that that is set at the depth of 100. Now when you do this, that will create a two octave range here in our LFO, and the center line runs down the middle here will be the same pitch as the pitch that you play. So it's often easiest to set that as a starting point. So let's go down to the Shapes folder, and in the Basic subfolder let's pull up flat 50. Next…
