Sub Oscillator

- [Instructor] Serum's two main oscillators are often more than what's needed to create complete sounds, but it's handy to have the extra sub oscillator when building bass sounds. Let's take a look at the sub and the options that let you control the signal routing. So, let's start by disabling oscillator A, and let's go into the upper left hand corner of Serum, and let's enable the sub. So you'll notice that there are six wave forms to choose from and that ranges from, a sign wave on the kind of pure end of the tonal spectrum, to a pulse wave on the more buzzy end of the tonal spectrum. So here's what the sign wave sounds like. (synth buzz) Then we get a second sign wave with a little bit of edge to it. (synth buzz) Then a triangle wave. (synth buzz) And then, the last three are quite a bit more buzzy, starting with the sawtooth wave. (synth buzz) Square. (synth buzz) And pulse wave.
