- [Male Instructor] One of the most defining features of any application, is the availability of help. Whether you've been using PowerShell for over a decade, or you're just getting started, we all need access to help from time to time. As with most technology, there are blogs and discussion threads all over the internet that help address specific uses of various commandlets and scripts. Additionally, Microsoft has provided two different kinds of help for PowerShell users. They've documented every single commandlet at docs.microsoft.com, and they've developed inline help. Let's take a look at that inline help first. If you know the commandlet that you want to use, but you don't recall the available parameters, the Get-Help commandlet is there for you. If I type Get-Help and run it on a relatively new server, such as the one we're using here, you can see that I'm prompted to download the help files. They're not installed by default.
