- [Voiceover] We've talked extensively about the hierarchy of the DNS System and how it goes all the way to the root of the Root servers and that can be followed all the way down. But all of what we've done so far to enter our DNS information has been on our private server, right? And the whole point of this is that we are able to resolve names that exist in Domains in Zone Files that exist out there on the internet that are publicly readable by everybody. So let's talk about that. Let's open up our Zone and let's talk about what that looks like whenever we have our Domain on the Internet. Of course, our Domain on the Internet is going to be virtually identical data to what we have in the Domain in our office, but they're going to be some very important differences. First it's going to be hosted by a DNS provider very likely. It is, of course, possible that you could put your public available DNS on a DNS server.
