- [Voiceover] In this movie, we're going to illustrate a point, and it is a very simple point, so this shouldn't take too long. We are in Google Chrome, and I've got the menu bar stuff all kind of hidden up here so we can get more of a large, wide screen kind of experience for you guys. But here you have multiple tabs, right, and we've got our pfSense router that we'll be looking at later in one tab, and I got two tabs here, both have Lynda.com open. I'm gonna use these tabs to show you what it looks like whenever you go to a website via an IP address versus what it looks like when you go to it via a domain name. Now whenever I put in an IP address, right, and so I've just pasted in two, four, dot, four, three, dot, one, six, two, dot, 11 which happens to be an IP address that I currently own; well, I'm leasing from Time Warner, but you put that in there, and it gets automatically by Chrome; thank you Chrome, preceded with http:// and it gets the trailing slash on it, and you hit…
