- [Instructor] While you debate what to customize, configure or otherwise add to your ITSM tool, your vendors is doing the same thing as they look across their customer base. You want to be very familiar with two things. One, your vendor's upgrade cycle so you can stay informed when new revised removed features as well as known errors and patches. And two, your vendors promote to production recommendations on introducing alterations to the production environment. We'll look at both of these topics and then spend some time describing ServiceNow's update set tool that captures changes and manages the promote to production process. Regarding the upgrade cycle, vendors typically release features and functions on a known cycle.
