- [Instructor] If you decide that you need a SharePoint team site rather than simply creating a new team, we go to SharePoint and simply click, wherever you are in SharePoint, the link for SharePoint here, which takes us to SharePoint home, yourdomain.sharepoint.com, and you'll see a link here to create a new site. Click Create Site and you have a choice of two different types of sites that you can create. If you want to create a site who's primary purpose is to communicate information, then you would create a communication site, and a communication site is a fine thing for a team to have, perhaps, to share their deliverables or share other results with a larger group or the entire organization. If you're creating a space, though, that is similar to what you would create in Teams, or similar to what you would create as an Office 365 group, that is a space for collaboration, for document sharing, for task…
