- Now, if you want to add a Custom Tile to the App Launcher in SharePoint server, well then first of all, you have to do that from the SharePoint server. So we're on that now. Here on my SharePoint server, I'm going to click on Start. And then what I want to open up is my SharePoint management shell. Now, there is a feature that we need to go ahead and enable, and I want to tell you that because I'm in SharePoint 2019, it's there by default. But if you're using an earlier version and you want to see if you have the feature, what you want to type in is get-Spfeature-identity. And the name of it is called Custom Tiles. And if you have it, then you will go ahead and you will see that it is a web application that is available to you.
