- [Narrator] Once you have registered a domain with Office 365, the next step is to create a UPN domain suffix in your on premises active directory domain that matches the public domain that you registered. So in this case, londonhotel620.com. Additionally, you have to assign the UPN domain suffix to each user account that you want to synchronize or federate between on premises and office 365. So to do this, I am signed into my domain controller in my environment, we're looking at the Server Manager and in the Server Manager up near the top right, I'm going to click on Tools, and the first thing I'm going to select is Active Directory Domains and Trusts. Here in Active Directory Domains and Trusts, I'm going to right click on the top level, okay? Actually on the words Active Directory Domain and Trust, and go to its properties.
