- [Instructor] After the general focus group meeting, you typically interview the power users, those who have a deep working knowledge of what the department needs to function. These interviews should, to some degree, echo what we said in the focus group meeting, but drill down on what is truly required by the employees in these individual departments doing the job. Here is an example Word document that simply lists the notes from the interviews of the stakeholders in each department. For example, in Accounting, Joshua uses two file shares for his documents. He has an accounting program that works well. As a matter of fact, it integrates with SharePoint on the back end, something Joshua may not be aware of. He uses his accounting program to handle payables, receivables, paychecks, et cetera, and that accounting program also is used by other departments.
