Creating and using workflows

- [Instructor] In a previous lesson we had a quick overview of what a workflow is and information management, and now it's time to put it to practice. So, although this title is Creating a Workflow, we really add the workflow to an existing document library or list, and that's what we're going to do in this lesson. We're going to use an existing list and apply a workflow to it. So, in our scenario where we've got complaints coming in, this would be an ideal spot for us to apply that Three-state workflow that appears in both MOSS 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services Environment. So, I'm going to click on Complaints and I do have some complaints in here already. The next thing we're going to do is add the workflow to this list. So, we go up to our settings drop down and we come down to List Settings and here's where we find in the Permissions and Management column our workflow settings link and we're going to give that a click which takes us to the page we looked at in the previous…
