Creating views

- [Instructor] In the previous lesson we explored sorting and filtering to help us find exactly what it is we're looking for in a list quickly and easily. By sorting or by filtering we're able to either narrow down or condense the list that we're looking at. So when lists tend to grow into the hundreds and thousands of items, filtering and sorting can be very important. While an extension of filtering and sorting is views. We can create custom views. By default in our list the view that we're looking at right here is called All Items and we see that in the top right corner next to the word View here. So I am viewing all items but I'm not viewing all information about all items and if I wanted to set up some sorting within a view I can do that too. So information like when this was created this item, and when it was updated and by who I don't see that unless I click on the item itself but if I want to display it here in the actual list view I can do that by creating a custom view.
