- [Tutor] What about exporting a list from SharePoint into an Excel spreadsheet? Now you're probably scratching your head a little bit at this point and say, "He spent all this time telling us how to get stuff out of Excel. Why would he tell us how to move stuff back into Excel?" Well, the fact of the matter is that you may want to do some more advanced things with your data than SharePoint can handle. Although SharePoint is adding functionality all the time. If you want to do any fancy data modeling, you're probably going to have to use a different tool to do it. Many people use Tableau which I think is a fantastic and powerful tool. I also really like Microsoft Power BI which has an advantage in that the basic version is free. I've seen people make fabulous charts and graphs and dashboards using these products.
