- [Instructor] While we're passing information back and forth from SharePoint, I want to mention one more place where you can do this. SharePoint has the ability to sync up with a project created in Microsoft Project. Now, this can start from either direction, either from a task list in SharePoint, or from a Project file. There are, of course, some conditions. First of all, and most importantly, it'll only work in conjunction with Project Professional. Secondly, as I said earlier, you can only convert to and from a SharePoint task list, it has to be that one, special, configured list, nothing else works. Also, SharePoint task lists are still in the classic style, they have not been modernized, like most of SharePoint. And that'll probably change at some point, but for right now, this is what it is.
