- [Instructor] While planning for SharePoint migration, there are a few considerations to determine the way to handle the content. So you need to ask things like, where is my data currently? What data do I want to migrate? And what do I need to fix before migration? Now, when you're evaluating your data, you should categorize that data into three main buckets. The first category is called Leave behind. This is the content that hasn't been modified in a while, and it's recommended that maybe you just don't spend that much effort, migrating data that you might no longer need, okay. So you want to evaluate data that's not been touched in such a long time maybe it just needs to be archived and not migrated. The second category is Migrate, okay, (chuckles) so this is kind of the obvious category. This is the relevant content that can be migrated with minimal rework.
