- [Instructor] SharePoint Hybrid Configuration Wizard, which is actually known as the Hybrid Picker, is a wizard that can be downloaded to your SharePoint server and automate certain configuration steps needed to connect your on-premises SharePoint server environment with SharePoint Online and Office 365. So what exactly does the Hybrid Picker do? Well, it has three basic steps. The first step is that the wizard will check basic SharePoint farm settings that would otherwise block setup of essential Hybrid building blocks. This is why you need to launch the Hybrid Picker from a server that will be part of your SharePoint hybrid. Now, some of the settings that are detected and checked while the configuration is run are included on the screen here.
