- [Instructor] So we've got this very nice looking view with salesmen and client groups. Now, what should we do next? Well, how about adding some totals? There's another SharePoint quirk that I have to tell you about. Do you remember when I mentioned in an earlier video that I had to create an extra column with a workflow to copy that today's date value into because you can't use the value today in a calculation? Well, there's another similar issue with getting totals interviews. You can't use the value of a calculated field to get a total. Now, this is a pretty well-documented issue and there are a number of workarounds posted online. I've used the simplest one, which is to run a workflow action that copies the calculated value from the total invoice amount column into another column. And then use that one to get my totals on my page with. These days, probably the easiest way to create workflows is with Microsoft power…
