Working with picture libraries
- [Instructor] The next type of library we're going to examine is very similar to a document library, except we're going to find some additional image-specific features in this one, as well as some integration into other applications that's not available with a document library. Of course I'm talking about a picture library, so these extra features and integration make a picture library the ideal place to store image files like marketing graphics, and diagrams, and photographs and so on. So what we're going to do to create our picture library is go up to the Site Actions drop-down like we did for our document library in the previous lesson, we'll click Create and then from the Libraries column on the left-hand side, the fourth one down is a Picture Library, so we're going to give that one a click. Now this should look familiar if you went through the previous lesson with a document library. We've got a Name field, the Description, Navigation. We've got Incoming E-Mail and Version…
