Always have a plan B

Always have a plan B

- So those are all of my best tips for stealth shooting on the down low. Hopefully it's not something you'll have to do too much, but when you do need to do it, you want to make sure you do it in the smartest way possible. Remember, you still need to secure the necessary permits and permission for any location, but even permits and permission don't necessarily mean that a location will be safe or hassle-free once everyone passing through realizes that you're shooting a film. If your stealth cover is blown and it's no longer possible to get what you need in that location, make sure you're always ready with a Plan B, an alternative location or something else you can shoot instead. Don't let the whole day's shoot go down the drain because of a single obstacle. There will always be unexpected setbacks in filmmaking. Remember, indie filmmakers don't just roll with the punches, we stay ready to duck and punch back. I'm Anthony Artis, and I'm out.
