Rich: One thing I like to do, is get my interviews transcribed. You've heard Amy describe several benefits and how it helps her be a better producer. So, let me show you that process of how to actually get a transcript from your audio track. First step, you're going to need to create an MP3 file in order to send it out for transcription. If this involves an interview, it's possible that they interview has several clips. Make sure you put these clips in the right order. If the interview spans several clips, or you start and stop the camera, it's a good idea for the transcript to still have everything in the order that it was shoot. This'll better line up with your memory, or the producer or director's memory, and make it easier to find things. And it will cut down on the chance of missing something. So, go through, string out the clips together into a single timeline and get everything ordered. Once this is done, you can go right out of the editing application. And produce a file using…
