Male 1: During the interview I try to get several supporting points if time allows. Essentially my goal here is to future-proof my interview by getting lots of captures. Sometimes this will be, talking in different tenses or making sure as I go forward I have adequate coverage for future edits. One of the things that I try to do is, after I've gotten my core material, my must-haves. I'll expand the interview. I often find that this is a great chance to revisit some of the key themes or the best messages and drill a bit deeper. I often say to my subject, during our conversation, we are going to in circles and that's okay. I might come back to a point or ask you about it again. And that's just because I'm interested. Don't think that you did anything wrong. We'll just keep going around in circles and answering some of the same questions by looking at a little bit differently each time.
