So now what I want to talk about is another technique that we can use to help us deal with plain or ugly background and that is shooting with a clove photo backdrop like the one we have behind me here. Now what's different about these photo back drops is that they do have a little bit of texture built into them, which certainly looks much better than just a plain color behind them. And as far as the lighting, you had to experiment with it, there's a lot of different ways you can light these. And they're all pretty simple, but you can get different looks out of them depending on what you do with them. So, right here behind me right now, we have kind of a little halo effect going on. So right up here, I have a Arri 300 watt Fresnel light that's aiming behind me. Giving me a little halo effect kind of light radiating out of my head. but I am far from an angel, so rather than an angelic effect, I could also go for this slash effect.
