Male 1: We hope you had fun with that exercise. Here's a look at how we cut the story. Female 1: I hate to use the word, community. I always try to say, it's a civic orchestra. Community, it's got a stigma, that's like it's not, you know, it's community. It's, it's non-professional, it's, you know, they don't play very well, they don't play interesting repertoire, they play out of tune. And NIH Philharmonia is the opposite of all of those points. Female 2: Why? Female 1: Why, because they are an amazingly talented group of volunteers. They're as passionate about their hobby as they are about their day job. And they practice, they practice not just at the rehearsal, they go home and work. If nothing else it's because I don't want Nancy to get on my my case about missing up something. I started out with 28 players. We're now up to 80 players. The repetoir that we, that we perform. This is music that, frankly, it's my favorite.
