- I'm Anthony Artis, and this week on Pro Video Tips I want to have a little bit of fun and do an exercise that I do with my students at NYU that I like to call 10 looks in 10 minutes. What this really is about is learning how to maximize image and lighting control so that you can get a variety of different looks, or as I like to think of them, visual stories. So depending on what your story is, it's really going to depend on what your lighting looks like. Sometimes you want it cool, sometimes you want it warm, sometimes you want a key and a fill, sometimes just a key, we're going to do all of those things right now in 10 minutes. So using the single window behind me with this HMI, we're going to see what we can do with just one other light source. I've got this open face area right here, and I've got a few gels, and a few reflectors, and we're just going to see how many different visual stories we can tell in 10 minutes starting right now.
