Now let's talk about some tips and tricks for working with practical lights. Any time you have a lamp in your scene behind you, you could have some potential issues that you want to look out for. So I want to talk about working with them. One of the first problems that occurs when you have a lamp in a scene like this is that often, the lamp is actually blown out on camera. So it normally might look something like this. Now that's not that big of a deal in many cases except that we don't like this kind of tell tale amateurish kind of video look to have lights blown out like that. So it's good to have some way to control these lamps. So a couple of tricks I do, I'm just going to dim it back down now. If the lamp is just in the background of the scene, you can do one of two things. you can have a variety of different types of bulbs, so I always like to carry in my kit three or four different bulbs, so a 40 watt, a 60 watt, 100, 200, etc. but also you might find it useful to have some of…
