- After your personal safety I think there's one golden rule of sports no matter what you're shooting, and that's to get the shot. And getting the shot isn't just a matter of luck. It's more so a matter of being prepared with the right gear, coming with a plan of attack, and thinking through how the whole piece is going to come together in post production.
