Add other information to a product
- [Man] There's a few things we haven't covered yet on the product page, and these are mostly ways to organize and display the product. Over here on the right, the product availibility is one of the settings you may want to use. Think of this as a way to deactivate a product from your store without deleting any information. It's very useful for seasonal products, or products that you only offer in-store or products that you only offer online. Right now we only see the online store selected, but as we add a POS system or other channels we can selectively choose where we want to sell and display our product. Some store owners don't delete products, they just turn off the visibility, which keeps all of the data safe. Unless you're 100% sure that your product will never come back to your store, I recommend turning off the visibility instead of deletion. If we scroll down, we can see product type.
