Add static pages
- There aren't any e-commerce sites that I know of that only show products. Even amazon.com has an About page. You usually talk about yourself on an About page. Or let customers get in touch with you via a Contact page. With Shopify, you can create and edit as many static pages as you want. Let's go ahead and create one of those. We'll go to Online Store from our admin dashboard. And under Online Store, we can click Pages. Your theme might come pre-installed with some pages but more than likely, you'll see nothing here and you can click Add page. Let's go ahead and call this About. And right beneath the title, we have what's called a WYSIWYG editor, mean What You See Is What You Get. That means it's going to work just like a regular word processor, so you don't need to know any code, you just format with the buttons. Let's go ahead and write in our bio here.
