Use your custom domain
- [Instructor] When you create your Shopify store, they automatically create your domain. In our case, it's laid-back-games.myshopify.com. There's nothing wrong using this URL, but it is a bit long and you'll likely want to have something more professional-looking like yourbrandname.com. The easiest and fastest way to set this up is to buy a domain through Shopify. They'll automatically configure it for you. And if you ever want to transfer away from Shopify a year down the line or 10 years down the line, they'll let you transfer it to hover.com which is one of my favorite domain registrars. You can, of course, buy your domain elsewhere and configure it with Shopify. I buy all of my domains on hover.com, so I'm going to set up everything through Hover and Shopify.
