- [Instructor] To get started inputting lyrics, let's create a vocal staff in this score and copy some of the single note melodic material into it, and then we'll add some lyrics to it. So, I for instruments, we're going to go to the singers category here, and let's add a soprano. Double click, there it is, and click okay. Now I'm going to take some of this flute line here and add it down to the soprano. So in my bar 20, I'm going to double click to select the notes in that system and then I'm just going to hold option. You can hold alt or option, and click into that soprano part to copy it down into there. And we may want a little more of that actually, so I'm going to go up here and take this system all the way through to here holding shift and I can option click that in right here as well. Whoops, undo, and option click, there we go. So we've got some music in the soprano part. We can actually focus on the soprano part,…
