Creating keyboard shortcuts

- [Instructor] If there is a feature in Sibelius that you find you're using often but it doesn't have a shortcut, you can easily assign your own shortcut to it. Many Sibelians who learn about the legacy chord symbol text style, for example, would love to have shortcut access to it rather than having to go locate it way down deep in the Text Styles menu. So let me give you some insight into how to do that, how to assign your own shortcuts to things in Sibelius that don't have them. Go ahead and make your way to Preferences. Command or Control + comma. Go to the Keyboard Shortcuts page. In the Tab or Category area, select Text Styles, in the Feature area, we're going to select Chord Symbol and this that legacy chord symbol text style. And notice in the Keyboard Shortcuts area there's no shortcut assigned to that text style. So we're going to add a shortcut to it. Go ahead and click Add. And if this is your first…
