Editing pitches

- [Instructor] In order to edit notes and rests, you need to be in edit mode. Edit mode simply means that something is selected in the score with no input caret present. You can get into edit mode by escaping so that nothing is selected in the score, and then click on an object like a note head. (note sounds) And I'm going to zoom in a little bit on that for us. For the most part, you should already know how to edit pitches, but as a reminder, you can edit pitches in all of the following ways. First I'm going to escape, because with nothing selected in the score, you can drag notes up and down with your mouse, (notes escalate and de-escalate) editing their pitches diatonically, although we highly recommend not clicking and dragging notes around with the mouse as there are much better ways to move them.
