Multi-copying and pasting
- To take copying and pasting to another level there's a very long-winded definition of something called multi-copy in the Sibelius Reference Guide. It's a term that describes several different copy paste processes in Sibelius. But really it's just a process to paste a copied object into many different places at once. It's almost more like multi-paste than multi-copy. How Sibelius responds to your multi-copy command is of course based entirely upon the type of selection that you make both before you copy and before you paste. So let's run you through a few examples. First, you can copy a single object and multi-paste the object using a single-paste command. A single object can be a note, a line, a piece of text, virtually anything. The multi-copy copy feature allows you to copy the single object and then past multiple copies of that object vertically across any number of selected staves with just one paste command. So to…
