Non-contiguous edit selections

- So far we've concentrated on making contiguous range selections, selecting from object A to object Z and everything in between. And we were using the SHIFT key as a modifier to accomplish that type of selection. But there will be times when you want to make non contiguous selections of objects. Like let's say, this object, let's consider this A. We zoom in a little bit on that and maybe this would be Z and nothing in between. For non contiguous selections, you'll use the shortcut modifier COMMAND on Mac or CTRL on Windows. Again this is a theme built into the program and actually it's built into most applications when it comes to creating non contiguous selections. So to make a non contiguous selection of objects, ESCAPE so that nothing is selected in the score, select an object in the score, this could be a note, a rest, an articulation, a piece of text. It could be virtually anything. And then press and hold COMMAND…
