Re-inputting pitches
- [Speaker] The re-input pitches feature in Sibelius allows you to take any inputted rhythm, no matter what the pitches are and apply new pitches to it without affecting the rhythms or rests. You'll always start with notes and rhythms already inputted on the page as we have here. The notes could be single pitches or they could be a variety of pitches and they could even contain intervals, or cords and note head markings. Let's listen to this piece of music as these unusual pitches have been inputted. Can you guess what the melody these rhythms actually belong to is? (tinkling piano) - [Speaker] If you guessed Mary Had a Little Lamb, you would be correct. Our task is to re-input the pitches, turning this into Mary Had a Little Lamb without inputting any rhythms, rests, or note head markings.
