- [Instructor] One issue that I'm seeing in my challenge file that many of you are probably also seeing, is that I have a lot of very short note values. I'm going to arrange this piece, add a drum pattern, and a bassline, and some horn licks to it, and modernize it a bit, and I don't think I want it playing back with such quick 16th notes all the time. You might want that, you have to make that decision for yourself, but I'm thinking that if I change these into mostly eighth notes and possibly swing them later, we might have a whole lot of fun with this piece of music. So I'm going to double all of the values in this entire piece, to change all 16ths to eighths, all eighths to quarters, and so on, and this is going to introduce us to one of Sibelius's transformation features.
