The Symbols gallery

- [Instructor] When you're looking for a particular symbol to add to your score, if you can find it in the key pad, within a text style, or within another gallery, like the lines gallery, you should input the symbol from one of those locations. Typically, symbols from those locations are the most intelligent symbols found in Sibelius in terms of playback and formatting. If you do not see a symbol or line that you need in the key pad or in any of the other galleries, your last resort for inputting a symbol into your score is using the symbols gallery, which we often call the zymbols gallery, because the one-letter shortcut that you use to access it is the letter z. You can also access the symbols gallery by going to the notations tab, symbols group, and clicking on the "more" button to expand the gallery from the ribbon.
