- [Instructor] Continuing with our new score setup discussion, we've reached the point where we're ready to start setting up a time signature for our score. I'm going to scroll down just a little bit here. So you can choose a time signature from the list of preset time signatures here on the new score setup window. Or you can click the Other button to create a time signature of your own if you don't see what you need in the list. Also, beneath each time signature option, you'll see groups of small numbers separated by commas. These indicate the beam and rest groups for each time signature. The simplest explanation is that these numbers represent how your eighth notes will be beamed within each bar. For example, the default for four times signature that has four comma four listed below it, indicates that its eighth notes will naturally be beamed in two groups of four But what if you wanted your eighth notes to be…
