What to know before taking this course
- [Instructor] This Sibelius Essential Training course was designed with a beginner in mind. However, it's required that students entering into this course have the ability to read music. It's also highly recommended that you have a clear understanding of basic musical concepts such as rhythms, time signatures, key signatures, and tempo, and have basic computing skills. If you have no prior exposure to Sibelius or any other notation software, that's okay. I'll be walking you through everything in Sibelius step-by-step. For those of you with prior experience, this course will likely help to fill in gaps in your Sibelius knowledge, allowing you to build a more solid foundation for working in the software from the ground up. All you need to bring to this course is a healthy desire to learn and a love for the art and craft of digital music notation.
