- [Instructor] Let's imagine that you've been asked to design a college enrollment dashboard for a client. To approach this project, we first want to understand the business goals for the dashboard so we can determine how to best lay this out. Our goal is to get an understanding in how the data will be used to make sure we design the right experience. The client, in this case, would like a dashboard that reflects current enrollment information by graduate level and alumni outcomes. Now, this information can be displayed in a lot of different ways. We now have to synthesize the data to determine which is most important at a glance and which data can be drilled into if the client needs more details. The first thing I'm going to do is break out themes based on the type of information our client said was important.
