Consumer experience for mobile

- [Instructor] Mobile is dominating many activities including mobile payment, shopping and consuming content. A recent Deloitte survey of online consumer behavior showed a strong preference for using the phone over other devices for various consumer activities. This behavior is especially prominent in the 25 to 34 age group. When I refer to consumer experience on mobile, I'm talking about experiences related to shopping, browsing content or online search. I'm not referring to productivity or work-related mobile activities. Let's take a look at some key considerations when designing for mobile. Some considerations are the information architecture, form handling, design for multidevice, and helpful notifications.
