The instructor says "Let's create this button from scratch." and then she says "Insert a colour symbol...".
If you are inserting existing components, she failed to demonstrate how to build something from scratch. This is symbols nested in symbols, and so on. It would have been helpful to see a demonstration on how to actually build those buttons.
