Defining interaction models

- Defining an interaction model refers to deciding how the user will interact with the experience. In order to create the right design, you'll need to understand the business or technology constraints involved and combine these with user needs. Let's dive into business constraints or sometimes, this is called business rules or business logic. Business rules are business requirements that must be included in the design. For example, if you're working on a product area that's highly regulated, like financial services, your design has to accommodate some regulatory rules. When incorporating these regulatory rules into the design, this might be something as simple as a check box to make sure the user understands what they're agreeing to.
