Designing content-rich experiences

- [Instructor] Content-rich interfaces include experiences like news sites, media, or video. These interfaces use attributes like personalization and discovery to encourage engagement and tailor content for consumption. To create a more personalized experience, content is grouped into categories and topics, which the user can select as an interest. The selected content is delivered to the user through a feed or populated as a row of content. Content-rich interfaces use recommendation engines or algorithms that learn which types of content is interesting to the user. This is based on attributes like previous consumption habits and are used to recommend similar types of content. So let's say we want to design a content-based experience to encourage discovery of new content. We may have a couple of different user archetypes.
