Designing the screens

- Once we've created our flow diagrams, we have a better understanding which screens we need to design for. Let's take a look at the flow diagram for the student experience for enrolling in Roux Academy. If we're using the flow diagram as a guide, the experience starts with the homepage as an entry point. I've mocked up the homepage here, and this is the Apply Now call to action which leads to the application flow. I've also mocked up each of these pages of the signup flow, and you can see the button actions are also represented in the flow diagram. Next, after the student submits the application, there's a waiting period until they receive an email, or letter in the mail. In this case, if the student was accepted, we send an email with the link to their student portal. The student can enter the portal, and there's a checklist of items they will need to complete before they can enroll in their classes. They need…
