Designing voice interfaces

- [Instruction] Voice design is designing conversation. The user is not interacting with another person, but there's an expectation that the technology will understand them. Voice interfaces don't have a user interface that you can see, however, underlying voice interface design follows the same user centered design process. You'll need to understand your user, their goals, and their context of use. The challenge for voice design is to create a conversational experience that feels as natural as possible and gives the user the information they need. To design for voice interacting, you'll need to create sample dialogs around key use cases. From a high level, we can look at it as a framework. Develop scenarios, anticipate questions and create scripts. When developing a scenario, we're using a persona, their context and desired tasks to understand what they need from the voice interaction.
