- [Instructor] Information architecture, or IA, is the organization of information for the product experience. This includes an evaluation of the navigation, labeling, content, and the overall organization of the user interface. Without good structure, users will struggle to find what they need and face obstacles to complete basic tasks. Let's delve into how to define an information architecture for our experience. We're designing a website devoted to pet care called Furbuddyhealth. Based on some inputs from our users, and the results of the card sorting activity, we can start to formulate our results into a content inventory, and track it in a spreadsheet. There are several things we'll be doing. The first is to perform a content inventory. The second is to track our labels and categories. And third, we're going to define the navigation structure.
