- [Instructor] If you'd like to create text that is part of the 3D geometry of your model, You can use the 3D text tool, and that is found under Tools, 3D Text. Now I'd like to add some house numbers right here to mark the street address of this house, so I'm just going to go ahead and choose three numbers, I'm going to do three, seven, four. And I'm going to go ahead and align it on center. I'll leave the font as is, and I would like it to be slightly extruded at one inch. So I'm happy with all of this. I'm going to select Place. And now it's attached to my cursor and as I move around the screen here, around my drawing area, it will align with the different faces that I hover over. I'd like it to be right next to this door, so I'm going to click and release to set it down. And it comes into our model as a group that we can move around freely.
